Dryable gas types:
Neutral gases: hydrogen (H ₂), oxygen (O ₂), nitrogen (N ₂), carbon monoxide (CO), methane (CH ₄).
Acidic gases: hydrogen chloride (HCl), carbon dioxide (CO ₂), sulfur dioxide (SO ₂), chlorine gas (Cl ₂).
Non drying gases and reasons:
Ammonia (NH3): Due to its reaction with anhydrous calcium chloride to form a complex (CaCl ₂ · 8NH3), it fails.
